Mission/Vision/Values Working Group

One of the key issues identified in the ILG Report was the absence of shared cultural values across the branch.  The Mission/Vision/Values Working Group aims to work with an outside consultant to identify- and implement shared cultural values, relying on employee voices and input in this process.  Following an RFP process, a contract has been signed with Accenture, and the group has now met with the vendor twice.  The MVV Working Group includes approximately 40 employees across all 22 Judicial Districts and spanning all staff levels to ensure voices are heard from a diverse cross-section of our workforce. Accenture is reviewing data collected from the Listening Sessions and is putting together 16-week work plan, with a targeted completion date of mid-July 2023.  The process will result in an updated mission statement, vision statement, recommendations for changes to the organizational structure (SCAO), and recommendations for putting the MVV documents into operation to embed them into the culture at Judicial.

The MVV group held multiple in-person and virtual workshops to develop the final Mission Statement, Vision Statement and Values for the Judicial Branch.  This language was finalized in July 2023.
